All of the art of dance pole instructors are approved by the Pole Dance Community. Our instructors have a vast array of experience and can teach all levels.
Sam Remmer is the principal instructor and owner of the Art of Dance. Sam started pole dancing in 2001 and is a PDC Approved 4 star pole dancing instructor.
Sam is Spin City Qualified.
Sam teaches various pole classes as well as a monthly stripper style class.

Rosanna joined the art of dance in 2009 after completing her Polekats instructor training course. Rosanna is a PDC Approved 3 star pole dancing instructor.
Rosanna teaches regular pole classes at the art of dance and is also available to cover private pole lessons
Georgina Gale joined the art of dance at it's conception in 2004. Georgina teaches pole, burlesque, lap dancing and pilates.
Lucy joined the art of dance in 2014. Lucy is a PDC approved 3 star pole dancing instructor and a qualfiied nutritionist.
Lucy also runs her own business, Pole Fit and Flexy, a company which offers pole and stretching training as well as diet consultations.
Shin started pole dancing in 2012 when she joined the University of Plymouth Pole Dancing Club (UPPDC). She immediately fell in love with pole dance and has since competed in numerous inter-university and national competitions as well as local showcases.
Shin won her first national competition in 2013 Pole Theatre UK in the Pole Art category.Shin joined the art of dance as an instructor in 2015. Shin is a PDC approved 3 star pole dancing instructor.
Linda started pole dancing with the Art of Dance in 2010 and she quickly demonstrated her strength and determination on the pole.
In 2014 Linda undertook a successful level 4 dancer grading under the Pole Dance Community's Advancement and Accreditation Programme.
Linda joined the Art of Dance as a PDC Approved 3 star pole dancing instructor in 2016, she is also Spin City qualified.
Esme started her pole journey as a student at the art of dance in 2015 before qualifying as a Spin City stretch instructor in 2018.
Esme achieved her first competition win at the English Riviera Pole Competition in 2017.
Esme teaches every Thursday night at 7.30pm and she is also available for private flexibility lessons.
Carleen began Pole dancing in 2012 and trained at various studios before joining the Art of Dance in 2015.
Whilst studying at University of Plymouth Carleen joined the University of Plymouth Pole Dancing Club where she competed and placed in the South West University Pole Competition in 2016 and 2017.
Carleen qualified as a Spin City Pole Instructor in 2017 and she completed her level 4 PDC grading in 2015, she also achieved a degree in dietetics at the University of Plymouth in 2018.
Abbie O'Brien joined the art of dance as a student in 2012. In 2019 she joined as a teaching assistant.
Phillipa Jane joined the art of dance as a student in 2016. In 2019 Phillipa joined the art of dance as a teaching assistant.
